This is the most important thing on this page. Pet’s Floor is a pet care service. We are not a veterinary hospital, clinic or practice, and we do not employ registered veterinary practitioners to give clinical advice through this website.

Nothing on this website — including our blog articles, service pages, FAQs and any guidance our staff share in conversation — is veterinary advice, a diagnosis, or a treatment plan. It is general information about living with and caring for animals.

If your pet is unwell, injured, in pain or behaving unusually, contact a registered veterinary practitioner. In an emergency, go to the nearest veterinary hospital immediately. Do not delay treatment because of something you read here, and do not use this site as a substitute for a professional examination.

2. General information only

Our content is written for a general audience. Every animal is different: what is right for one dog’s age, breed, temperament, weight or medical history may be actively wrong for another.

We take care to keep our content accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is complete, up to date, or applicable to your particular animal. You act on it at your own discretion, and you remain responsible for the decisions you make about your pet’s care.

3. Adoption listings

Pets listed for adoption on this website are submitted by their current owners or caretakers. We review every listing before it is published, and we may decline or remove a listing at any time — but a review is not an inspection, a veterinary examination or a guarantee.

Specifically, we do not warrant that:

• the breed, age, temperament, sterilisation status, vaccination history or medical notes given by an owner are accurate or complete;
• a pet is free of illness, injury, parasites or a behavioural condition that has not been disclosed;
• a pet will settle successfully into your home, or will behave as described once its surroundings change;
• the person listing a pet is its lawful owner.

Adoption is a decision you make on your own judgement. Meet the animal, ask questions, and have it examined by your own veterinary practitioner before and after you take it home. Pet’s Floor facilitates an introduction between two parties; we are not a party to the adoption and we accept no liability arising from it.

4. Training, grooming, boarding and walking

We provide our services with reasonable skill and care, but outcomes depend on factors outside our control — your pet’s temperament and history, its health, and the consistency of what happens at home between sessions.

• Training results vary by animal. We do not guarantee that a specific behaviour will be corrected within a given number of sessions, or at all.
• Grooming can reveal skin conditions, matting damage or sensitivities that were not visible beforehand. We will tell you if we find something and will stop if continuing would distress or hurt the animal.
• Boarding and walking involve animals being active, and in some cases around other animals. Ordinary risks of injury, illness and stress exist even with careful supervision.

You must disclose any known medical condition, allergy, bite history or behavioural issue before a service begins. Withholding it puts our staff, other animals and your own pet at risk, and any liability arising from an undisclosed condition rests with you.

5. Prices, availability and images

Prices and packages shown on this website are indicative and may change. The price that applies is the one we confirm to you when you book. Availability of a service, a slot or a listed pet is not guaranteed until confirmed.

Photographs and illustrations are for presentation. Images of pets in service pages are not necessarily animals in our care, and a listed pet’s photographs may not reflect its current appearance.

Where we link to another website, we do so because we think it may be useful. We do not control those sites, we are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement.

7. Testimonials

Reviews and testimonials on this website reflect the experience of the individual customers who gave them. They are personal accounts, not a prediction, and your own experience may differ.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pet’s Floor is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or your reliance on its content. Nothing in this disclaimer limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
